The nation of Kenya has a population of 28 million people. 70% claim Christianity as their religion, although many only in name, the number is closer to 20% being believers. The official language is English, and the national language is Swahili. Because of the current political climate there are areas of Kenya that have suffered from the ravages of war and sickness. The rural areas of Kenya have been dramatically affected because of their poor infrastructure. They have bad roads, no electricity and no running water. Through the efforts of SCN Apostle Shadrach Oloo many pastors in these rural areas have hope and are able to help their churches.
Our SCN Apostolic Minister Pastor Shadrach Oloo is based in Nakuru, Kenya. His church, Agape Fellowship, heads an elementary school and orphanage of more than 120 students. They also feed more than 40 street families 5 meals a week and provide soap and water for them to bathe and do laundry to stay clean. They hope to build them a home in the future.
He oversees more than 1000 pastors and churches in Kenya and serves as the SCN Apostle over the continent of Africa. The Salt Covenant Network oversees churches in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Sudan, Congo and South Africa. In Kenya there are 6 overseers who work under Pastor Shadrach. Grouped by geographic location in Kenya, these overseers minister effectively to their many pastors.
Apostle Shadrach Oloo serves the Salt Covenant Network on the Apostolic Counsel of Twelve. This group of ministers meets to discuss how they can better help their country by serving their people. They will offer commentary, and assist other leaders with issues they face. The Conference is scheduled each year in June.
